Change the rule, not the method

The same cube and the same simplex code. The only thing the control changes is which improving column gets entered.

Try this. Set the rule to Dantzig and raise the dimension one notch at a time. The count doubles. Switch to Bland at the same dimension and watch it drop without becoming anything you would call small.

Nothing about the cube changes between these three readings. The exponent belongs to the rule.
